Job Title: Litigation Legal Secretary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Litigation Legal Secretary to join our team at The Dysart Law Firm, P.C. in St. Louis. As a key member of our personal injury law firm, you will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities:
  1. Document Preparation: Accurately type legal documents, memos, pleadings, and other materials with precision and attention to detail.
  2. Case Management: Scan and copy case documents into our case management software, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  3. Filing and Scheduling: File pleadings, notices of hearings, and other documents, as well as calendar and schedule depositions, court hearings, client meetings, and other events.
  4. Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, medical providers, expert witnesses, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and follow-up.
  5. Case Development: Follow up on new case leads and open new cases, utilizing your strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Requirements:
  1. Education and Experience: Some training in paralegal studies and/or related work experience, with a strong foundation in Microsoft Office and software.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficient in typing at least 85+ WPM, with expertise in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  3. Soft Skills: Highly organized, with excellent writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
  4. Software Proficiency: Comfortable with case management software and able to multitask and work well under pressure.
