Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accounting Specialist to join our team at Brown & Root.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project accounting support to project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data reporting.
  • Perform tasks such as project set-up, commitment tracking, small purchasing, government property control, accounts payable, payroll, daily cost tracking, client billing, and cost accrual information.
  • Supervise or lead other Project Accountants and/or Project Accounting assistants.
  • Forecast and plan resources and requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 to 25+ years of experience in project accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge of business and functional priorities.
  • Ability to integrate knowledge of the business to address complex problems and non-standard situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
