Job Title: LPN Weekend Warrior

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing. This is a unique opportunity to work a weekend shift and enjoy a higher hourly rate.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for promoting the health, wellness, and illness prevention of our residents through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. This includes administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures, and documenting patient data.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications and performing clinical procedures.
  • Document patient data and maintain accurate records.
  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid LPN license in the state of New York.
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
