Job Summary:

As a Patient Transporter with Christus Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of patients within our hospital. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to their inpatient beds and other areas of the hospital, such as admitting, surgery, therapy, or radiology.
  • Retrieve medical records, lab results, supplies, and medications as required.
  • Prioritize duties to facilitate department flow and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. You will be on your feet for most of the day, with a high level of physical activity required to transport patients and equipment.
