Phlebotomist I Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Coeur D Alene, ID. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood specimens from patients using established procedures and protocols.
  • Administer oral solutions to patients as required.
  • Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
  • Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
  • Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory management, supply ordering, and data entry.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical training or experience preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred in California, Nevada, and Washington.
