ENGINEERING LEVELS
This engineering position can be filled at various levels, from Mid-level to Senior Staff Engineer. Please refer to the minimum qualifications for each level outlined below:
Expected Salary Range:
Mid-Level - $88,000 - $108,000
Senior Level - $115,000 - $141,000
Senior Staff - $138,000 - $164,000
These ranges are annual figures based on experience and include a comprehensive benefits package with bonuses and 401(k) options.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The role involves advanced engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. You will be responsible for making critical technical decisions.
Possessing extensive knowledge in your field, you will apply this expertise practically while adhering to industry codes and regulations.
You will operate with recognized industry-level expertise in a technical domain.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct advanced engineering and technical tasks to support nuclear plant operations.
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for technical projects.
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability, ensuring compliance with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
- Offer technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.- Manage engineering tasks effectively.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with regulatory changes.
- Support plant design modifications, testing, and problem-solving.- Ensure all engineering products are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate functional supervisory activities, including personnel management, budgetary responsibilities, and planning goals for engineering personnel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- For Mid-level E02 Engineer: B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
- For Senior E03 Engineer: B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years of engineering experience.
- For Senior Staff E04 Engineer: B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 10+ years of engineering experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineering Registration, advanced technical degree, or relevant coursework.
