Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and proficient Culinary Specialist to enhance our kitchen operations. In this role, you will be tasked with the preparation and cooking of various food orders, ensuring they adhere to our high-quality standards and are delivered in a timely manner. You will also assist the Sous Chef with a range of operational duties to maintain an efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of dishes according to established menus and recipes, assessing inventory to identify daily requirements.
  • Cook a range of food orders, including meats, seafood, and poultry, ensuring optimal flavor and presentation.
  • Uphold high standards of quality and visual appeal for all prepared dishes.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to reduce waste.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of food supplies and ingredients.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain quality standards.
  • Effectively operate kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness is upheld.
  • Communicate product needs and assist in the procurement of supplies as necessary.
  • Engage in training opportunities and stay updated on promotions and events.
  • Participate in Kitchen Staff Meetings and perform additional assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Handler's Card is mandatory.
  • 4-5 years of experience in restaurant cooking.
  • 2-3 years of experience in fine dining is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Point of Sales (POS) systems is advantageous.
