Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze patient information to develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement and evaluate treatment plans, using teach-back methodology to educate patients and families
  • Prevent potential hospital-acquired complications and effectively communicate patient status and interventions
  • Follow HIPAA policies and procedures, and adhere to the Mission, Vision, and Values of St. Joseph Mercy Hospitals
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of nursing with the ability to sit for the NCLEX exam
  • Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License and BLS certification
  • ACLS required for the Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, and Emergency departments
  • Experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on cardiac and medicine patients
