We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Total Care Therapy. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform treatment visits and communicate with supervising therapists regarding patient progress.
  • Travel to facilities or residential locations to complete patient evaluations.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients by assisting in assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
  • Follow the plan of care set by the therapist and complete subsequent follow-up visits.
  • Identify indications for evaluations of clients at appropriate intervals under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
  • Conduct individual treatment outlined in the treatment plan, including activities of daily living, functional mobility, range of motion, strength, coordination, cognitive/perceptual remediation, and functional maintenance.
  • Maintain a weekly caseload of 27-32 visits (full-time).
  • Utilize a universal electronic documentation system.
  • Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, supervisors, clients, family members, community personnel, and administration.
