Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet & Catering Supervisor to join our team at Golden Route Operations. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all banquet events, from planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the banquet staff, including captains and servers.
  • Develop and distribute all pertinent paperwork, including banquet event orders and contracts.
  • Handle telephone calls and coordinate staffing and equipment levels for events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able and willing to successfully complete Title 31 annual training.
  • Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident, and well-groomed manner.
  • Good organizational and people skills required.
  • Must be skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with guests and staff.
Work Environment

This position requires occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 40 lbs., as well as frequent bending, reaching, twisting, sitting, and standing. The work environment is indoor and outdoor, with occasional exposure to smoky and noisy conditions.
