Gift Shop Associate

As a Gift Shop Associate with Lake Michigan Carferry, you will be responsible for maintaining a visually appealing and well-stocked gift shop onboard the Badger. This role involves retail sales, product inventory management, and merchandising. You will work closely with customers, ensuring a positive experience and providing excellent customer service. In addition to sales and inventory management, you will also be responsible for maintaining the gift shop's appearance, ensuring it remains neat, attractive, and organized. Retail and cashier experience is a plus, but not required. This role offers a flexible schedule, with the opportunity to work three days a week and earn 36-39 hours per week. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour for day shifts and $13.35 per hour for night shifts. Both day and night shifts include tips, holiday pay, 401K, and a season-end bonus of $0.50 for every hour worked. To be successful in this role, you must hold or have the ability to obtain a USCG Merchant Mariner Credential and a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
