Behavior Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our Student Services and Special Services department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide intensive supports for behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans for students with significant behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the BCBA in developing and implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges in a variety of settings
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Collect and analyze data to inform behavior support plans
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
- Experience working with students with behavioral challenges and/or autism spectrum disorder
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
