As a Mother Baby Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to postpartum mothers and newborn infants, as well as support women during labor and delivery. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, and we are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and assess patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians, certified nurse-midwives, and patients and their families.
  • Provide high-risk and low-risk care to patients, including developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a registered nurse.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or completion within 6 months of date of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification for L&D RNs.
  • National Certification Corporation (NCC) or American Nurses Credentialing Center certification preferred.
About Us

St. Joseph Medical Center is a 361-bed regional medical center and a level II trauma center with Level III Neonatal Intensive Care support, in partnership with Seattle Children's Hospital. We offer 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage for high-risk deliveries and 24/7 in-department OB Hospitalist coverage. Our Family Birth Center has 12 Labor and Delivery beds and 23 Post-Partum beds.
