Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic insights during the design phase, focusing on logistics, planning, and quality assurance.
  • Support project teams in the procurement of essential equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
  • Oversee the pre-qualification process for installation contractors, fostering relationships with top-tier contractors to enhance bidding efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project teams to assess internal resource needs and facilitate the hiring and training of personnel for project execution.
  • Manage on-site construction managers and coordinate all construction activities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure effective coverage of construction management resources across multiple projects.
  • Assist project managers in maintaining accurate schedules and implementing strategies for project acceleration and recovery.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide guidance to on-site teams.
  • Support engineering teams with project scoping, cost estimation, and scheduling.
  • Assist in developing contracting strategies and reviewing bid packages for subcontractor selection.
  • Prepare and present regular construction progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations across all projects.
  • Assist in resolving quality issues and disputes with vendors or subcontractors.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support project success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of experience in construction project management, particularly in complex facility infrastructure or energy projects.
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction management regulations.
  • Experience managing teams in a construction environment.
  • Relevant construction management certifications or state licensing.
  • Familiarity with medium voltage systems and industrial equipment.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and build positive relationships.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
