Job Summary

Community Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine Outreach School Based team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to athletes and active individuals in middle and high school settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prevent, assess, and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries
  • Recondition athletes and active individuals after injury to prevent injury recurrence, impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and return to activity
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Communicate effectively with staff, patients, families, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in athletic training
  • Current or temporary Indiana license, pending license must be obtained within 45 days of start date
  • Current Board of Certification (BOC), Inc. Athletic Training certification
  • Knowledge of anatomy/physiology, current treatment techniques, and functional progressions
  • Ability to lift/transfer patients or treatment supply items without restriction
  • Ability to organize responsibilities and set priorities
  • Ability to function independently and make sound decisions
