Job Summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Inpatient Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and other complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care.
  • Assist with training and education of new staff members, and provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on nephrology or critical care.
  • Successful completion of Fresenius Medical Care's education and training program for new employees.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
