Job Summary

Holt Truck Centers of Texas LLC is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team of experienced technicians. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for our fleet of on-highway trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex engine malfunctions and failures
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
  • Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify and repair issues with on-highway truck electronic systems
  • Document all work performed, including service reports and timecards
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of on-highway truck service experience required
  • CDL - Class A or B preferred
  • ASE - Medium/Heavy Truck Certification one or more preferred
Working Conditions
  • Regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts
  • May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
  • Frequently works in an enclosed vehicle or equipment
  • Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment
