  • Implement and manage network security measures to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement network solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Conduct network capacity planning and recommend hardware and software upgrades as needed.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference and compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior network staff and other departments.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in network operations or a similar role.
  • Experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, or other network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and monitoring tools.
  • Personnel certification: CND or Network+, CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC.
  • Security clearance: Secret required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry network equipment (up to 50 lbs.) as needed.
  • Ability to work in a data center environment with exposure to various network hardware and systems.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and expertise.
