Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver general nursing care to patients.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established nursing standards.
  • Assist in preparing equipment and support physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Monitor, document, and report on patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
  • Provide instructions to patients regarding specimen collection and treatment protocols.
  • Manage incoming calls and provide necessary patient information.
  • Record vital patient data prior to physician visits, including vital signs and medication updates.
  • Perform EKGs and other required assessments as directed by physicians.
  • Collect blood specimens while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain organized patient records and files.
  • Initiate IV fluids and therapeutic medications in compliance with state nursing regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • Entry-level position requiring 0-3 years of LPN experience.
  • Current BCLS certification is required within three months of hire.
  • Willingness to travel between various practice locations as needed.

Physical Demands:

This role requires a full range of motion, including the ability to lift and handle patients, as well as manual dexterity. The position involves prolonged standing and walking, with occasional lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Vision and hearing must be within normal ranges.
