Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Board and Campaign Professional to facilitate communication and coordination between the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.

This role will ensure the Board operates efficiently, and its decisions and strategies are effectively communicated and implemented. The successful candidate will plan and execute all aspects of the Board of Director's and Campaign Committee meetings, including reports, correspondence, and other responsibilities.

The Board and Campaign Professional will also serve as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Finance and Operations and the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, providing administrative support, scheduling meetings, and managing multiple tasks and calendars.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with diverse constituencies locally, nationally, and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prioritize and schedule meetings, committee meetings, and communication for the Board of Directors and Campaign Committee.
  2. Provide administrative support to board members, including travel arrangements, scheduling, and communication.
  3. Assist new board members with onboarding, including providing necessary orientation materials and information.
  4. Ensure the Board policies, minutes, and procedures are updated, completed in an accurate and timely manner, approved, and followed.
  5. Archive historical documents, policies, and records related to the Board's activities.
  6. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to Board documentation.
  7. Communicate to Management monthly any outstanding, in-process, or completed Board or Campaign Committee items.
  8. Responsible for Convene and other tools used for Board and Campaign Committee to ensure they are fulfilling the needs of the Board, Campaign Committee, and Management.
  9. Prepare professional materials for meetings, such as documents, PowerPoint presentations, and online meeting platforms, as appropriate, and provide the appropriate and accurate documentation for Board and Campaign members.
  10. Create Board processes and timelines.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience: 5 years of administrative assistance experience. Sales experience preferred.

Competencies: Excellent organizational skills, excellent proofreading skills, exceptional communication, analytical, planning, and implementation skills, great attention to detail, ability to work proactively and anticipate needs, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to collaborate with diverse constituencies locally, nationally, and internationally, work independently, high-energy, and multi-tasking skills, resourceful and willing to take initiative, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, TEAMS, ability to cooperate and promote good will with supervisor, co-workers, alumni, and university partners, knowledge of office practices and procedures.
