CPS Investigation Senior Case Worker

This position serves as a lead worker investigating child abuse referrals, assessing the risk and safety of the child, and taking appropriate action. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, youth, and families, as well as partnering with community service providers.

• Initiate and conduct CPS investigations consistent with agency policy and procedures.
• Provide quality practice in the completion of CPS investigations and continuous protective services.
• Complete required documentation on assigned cases.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or Family Studies.
• One year of experience in social work, case management, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Work is performed in an office setting with regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage. Late hours, weekends, on-call, and callback work may be required.
