Swan Lake Resort is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Banquet Bartender. This position entails the essential task of preparing and managing bar setups, which may include the arrangement of glassware, kegs, liquor bottles, mixers, and other necessary items. The Banquet Bartender will be responsible for serving alcoholic beverages to guests while adhering to the legal guidelines governing alcohol service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and address their inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Prepare and garnish drinks according to established recipes and portion control standards.
- Serve beverages to guests in a professional manner.
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
- Maintain and stock the bar with necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, and other essentials.
- Ensure the quality and proper storage of all beverage-related perishables.
- Handle situations involving inebriated guests with professionalism.
- Uphold a professional appearance at all times.
- Collaborate with banquet staff to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Report to work as scheduled, in uniform, and prepared for duties.
- Foster positive relationships with coworkers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol and possess (or be able to obtain) a bartender's license.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in bartending.
- Availability to work during holidays and weekends is essential, as many events occur during these times.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
