POSITION OVERVIEW:
The main objective of this role is to assist patients in regaining their optimal physical capabilities while achieving the goals set by patients, physicians, and therapy standards. Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control regulations while maintaining the established practice standards set by the facility's administration.
Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
- Must hold a current and valid license in the state of practice.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations for residents to assess the need for Physical Therapy.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with facility staff.
- Communicate evaluation results and treatment goals to caregivers, family members, and residents.
- Complete all necessary documentation within the required timeframes.
- Implement treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust plans as necessary.
- Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides.
Experience:
- Prior experience in long-term care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
- Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available
- Shifts: Days and Weekends
