Merchandiser Opportunity at Georgia Crown Distributing Co.

We are seeking a skilled Merchandiser to enhance our presence in retail outlets across Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in delivering and installing point-of-sale (POS) materials, building displays, and placing advertising materials as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to various retail locations to deliver and install POS materials, build displays, and place advertising materials.
  • Enhance Georgia Crown's presence in retail outlets through excellent customer service, including communication with management and ensuring optimum product location.
  • Deliver, assemble, and install various sizes and types of POS materials.
  • Learn and utilize our sales software system for downloading orders and be trained on the basics of running a sales territory.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs occasionally/frequently to build displays and install POS materials.
  • Knowledge of the beverage alcohol industry is preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good people/communication skills and willingness to work with store owners, managers, and sales reps.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and carry cases of product.
  • Must be able to work long and flexible hours.
  • Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record: Cannot have more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • Cannot have DUI, reckless driving, or hit and run in the last 5 years.
  • Must be able to keep 100/300/100 liability amounts on car insurance.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Background checks will be conducted.
