University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparing patients, operating equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including educating patients on procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, procedure details, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
- 1 year of experience in Cardiac Catheterization/Interventional radiology/Neuro Intervention required.
- Circulating experience required.
- Associates degree in applied science from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology school required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) is required.
- (ARRT) certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is required.
