Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineering Specialist to join our team at Butler Aerospace and Defense. As an Instrumentation and Data Acquisition Expert, you will be responsible for installing and calibrating various types of instrumentation, including accelerometers, thermocouples, and pressure transducers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and calibrate instrumentation, including accelerometers, thermocouples, and pressure transducers.
  • Connect instrumentation to data acquisition systems and signal conditioning equipment.
  • Collect and process instrumentation response data for customers.
  • Interface with internal customers to review data and requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
  • General electrical knowledge, including the ability to interpret electrical schematics and comprehend Ohm's Law.
  • Strong math, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the operation of digital data acquisition systems and electronic test equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vocational degree in instrumentation.
  • Working knowledge of signal processing and data processing skills.
  • Working knowledge of MatLab and data acquisition software (Dewesoft).
