Automotive Refinisher

The Automotive Refinisher is responsible for refinishing damaged body parts and vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership quality specifications and time standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and repair vehicles to ensure quality and safety standards
- Mix and apply paint according to manufacturer's specifications
- Select and mix coating liquids to produce desired colors
- Paint surfaces using sprayers or brushes as appropriate
- Inspect painted units for quality of workmanship and correct any defects
- Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
- High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience
- ASE Certification preferred
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes
The Automotive Refinisher will primarily work in an automotive shop environment, which may involve various weather conditions and safety hazards.
Physical DemandsThe position requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance, frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds, and standing for prolonged periods of time.
