Residential Support Specialist

DICE Community Residential Services is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). As a DSP, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others by providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes and in the community.
Salary and Benefits:
$18.50 per hour, paid training, mileage reimbursement, paid vacation after one year, and access to ongoing education and certification opportunities.
Job Description:
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. As a DSP, you will provide daily living assistance, accompany individuals on outings, administer medication, and implement individualized care plans. You will also assist with household tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- Empathy and compassion for individuals with special needs
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Shift Availability:
Rotating weekends every other weekend required. In person work at clients' residences within the Tri Cities area.
