Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at FreshPoint, a Sysco Company. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering containers to sites in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve cargo from various cargo services and ensure it is transported safely and securely.
  • Complete and submit all vehicle reports, receiving documents, and trip sheets in a timely manner.
  • Receive and account for all cargo, submitting receipts as required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of your vehicle and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Collect COD accounts and report any accidents to your supervisor immediately.
  • Log break and lunch times, as well as follow your assigned route on your trip sheet.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance and be available to work overtime as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Produce industry experience preferred.
  • CDL B license required.
  • Forklift proficiency and certification required.
  • Maintain licensure and PUC certificates.
