Surgical Technician Opportunities at Norton Healthcare

We are seeking skilled Surgical Technicians to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and handle instrumentation and surgical equipment, assisting the surgeon during procedures.
  • Administer care and use equipment applications based on patient needs and age.
  • Prioritize and plan effectively in dynamic surgical situations.
  • Recognize and respond to urgent or emergency situations.
  • Apply knowledge of medical terminology, the metric system, and aseptic technique in patient interactions.
Requirements:
  • One year of surgical tech experience, completion of a surgical tech program, or completion of a surgical tech apprentice program.
  • For Senior Surgical Technician, three years of experience and certification as a Surgical Tech (CST) are required.
