Interventional Radiologist Physician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiologist Physician to join our team at Ace InfoTech LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing a range of interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, cryoblation, balloon angioplasty/stent placement, and more.
- Provide consultation and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for interventional radiologic procedures.
- Communicate with patients and their families to ensure they understand their treatment options and any necessary follow-up care.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings with committee participation as required.
- Perform on-going peer reviews for approximately four hours per month.
- Follow all established patient safety and infection control standards of care.
- Make every effort to prevent medication errors, falls, and patient injury caused by acts of commission or omission in the delivery of care.
Requirements:
- Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Board Certification per the American Board of Radiology.
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
- Ability to provide documents upon request to verify current and ongoing competency, skills, certification and/or licensure related to the provision of care, treatment and/or services performed.
Working Hours:
Clinic hours are 7:30am – 4:30pm EST. Monday – Friday, day tour, as needed. After hours on-call, weekends and government holidays. Weekday on call is from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 and 24 hours -weekends Saturday and Sunday.
On-Call Coverage:
On-call contractor's physician(s) must be available at all times for phone consultations with VA residents and physicians. On-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60 minutes.
