POSITION: Club Level Bartender
STATUS: Hourly / Part-time as needed
REPORTS TO: Server Coordinator
FACILITY: Erie Insurance Arena
HOURLY RANGE: Guaranteed no less than $11.00 per hour + tips. Average rate with tips varies between $20.00 per hour - Rate of pay will depend on business volume.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Club Level Bartender, you will excel in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role involves taking drink orders, preparing server drink requests, and ensuring a memorable guest experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for the setup, upkeep, and operation of the designated bar area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be RAMP certified or willing to obtain certification through Erie Events. Additionally, must satisfactorily complete all departmental training requirements.
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, along with familiarity with standard drink recipes is preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash are essential.
- Ability to remain stationary, as well as standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, and bending for extended periods of up to five hours.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the setup, cleanliness, and operation of the club bar.
- Collaborate with Club Level Servers to fulfill patron drink orders.
- Mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests following standard recipes.
- Understand standard pouring measurements for all products served according to ECCCA policies and procedures.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues, discrepancies, and supply needs.
- Familiarity with POS systems is required.
- Process payments from patrons for drinks served and provide change as necessary.
- Conduct inventory counts at the beginning and end of shifts, maintaining accurate records of inventory flow during events and reconciling with end-of-shift POS cash outs.
- May prepare fruit garnishes for drinks.
- May clean and sterilize glassware.
- Adhere to the laws and regulations of the PLCB.
- Implement and enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of bar areas.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.
