Job Summary:The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This includes assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' medical histories, current conditions, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, including physical examinations, laboratory results, and other diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement plans for patient education, including teaching patients and their families about disease management, medication regimens, and other aspects of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhancing patient care.
- Active RN license in good standing.
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
