About the Role:

  • Work on high-voltage transmission and distribution lines on wood poles, iron poles, towers, and vaults
  • Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on energized and de-energized lines
  • Assist with troubleshooting and responding to off-hour work
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working in different locations based on business needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct, install, and maintain poles, guy wires, and line hardware
  • Trim trees and perform complete inspections of construction
  • Locate faults on transmission and distribution circuits
  • Replace fuses and perform maintenance work on isolated towers

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Completed apprentice program and be a first-class journeyman lineperson
  • Good practical knowledge of transmission and distribution systems
  • Familiar with overhead line construction methods
  • Ability to follow instructions and operate tools used in line work
  • Physical ability to climb and work on structures and poles
  • Class 'A' CDL preferred
  • Certifications and licenses required
