**Job Summary**

MORryde is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Materials Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of materials, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management and quality control.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to meet production demands.
  • Manage inventory levels and place orders with suppliers to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies and quality issues with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Production, Sales, Engineering, and Accounting, to ensure seamless material flow.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and trends to resolve issues and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software systems and Excel.
