Excavation Laborer

Job Summary:

Roto-Rooter is seeking a skilled Excavation Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in the safe operation and maintenance of backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in digging trenches for sewers and other underground infrastructure
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators
• Perform manual labor and heavy lifting in a fast-paced environment
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist in the transportation of equipment on transport trailers

Requirements:

• Experience in digging safely around live utilities
• Construction experience, including residential and commercial projects
• Chauffeur's license and DOT cards
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to heavy equipment and manual labor. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
