Job Summary

As a Staff Software Engineer at Viant, Inc., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software features that meet the needs of our customers. This role offers a great opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and collaborate with other teams to create a highly reliable, highly-available, low-latency runtime platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and continuous review of existing projects
  • Collaborate with other teams to create and iterate on the runtime platform
  • Own multiple subsystems of the runtime platform
  • Manage all phases of the software development life cycle

Requirements
  • 8+ years of professional experience in the software industry
  • Experience in the AdTech domain
  • Proficiency in the Go programming language
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience designing, building and delivering high-quality software
  • Knowledge of modern programming languages
  • Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server with experience in writing SQL
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, especially AWS and GCP
