About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Technician to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a Nurse Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, such as preparing patients for exams and procedures, and transporting patients to and from departments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and nursing practices.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a nursing program accredited by the Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, Washington State Department of Health, or other state nursing approval body for out-of-state residents.
  • Must provide current transcript.
  • Completed one quarter or semester, which includes a clinical rotation.
  • School-sanctioned skills checklist.
  • Washington Nursing Technician Registration upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
