Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality images for medical diagnoses, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images.
- Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
- Assist radiologists in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing patient care.
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, maintaining room cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification within 1 year of employment start date.
- Certificate in a related field.
