Certified Medication Aide

As a Certified Medication Aide at Heritage Inn, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team and assist with medication administration, resident care, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians, including oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal, and rectal medications.
• Conduct finger stick blood glucose testing and administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as directed by clinical guidelines.
• Provide routine care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and completing dressing changes as needed.
• Properly store and dispose of medications, and document medication administration and/or declination according to established guidelines.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Aide in the State of Georgia.
• Certified Medication Aide in the State of Georgia.
Benefits:
• Competitive hourly rate: $17.75 to $20.25.
• Shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.
