- Efficiently separates and organizes food items for storage, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Prepares meals according to standardized recipes, maintaining quality in appearance and taste.

2. **Sanitation and Safety:**
- Adheres to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper knife handling and equipment maintenance.
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment and work areas regularly to uphold a safe environment.

3. **Quality Control:**
- Monitors food temperatures and expiration dates, taking necessary actions to ensure freshness and quality.
- Tastes food prior to service to ensure it meets our standards for palatability.

4. **Collaboration:**
- Works closely with dietitians and catering staff to ensure that meals are prepared and served according to dietary requirements.
- Assists in the assembly of patient trays and ensures accurate delivery of meals.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Maricopa County Food Handlers Card is necessary.
