Salary: $43,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. This position requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, shaving, oral care, and elimination.
  • Monitor and record patient information, including vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, and calorie counts.
  • Assist with mobility by turning and positioning patients, ambulating them, and using walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs.
  • Collect and label specimens for diagnostic or waived tests.
  • Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
