The successful Safety & Training Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and facilitating classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel training, and work-site safety training. You will also maintain training schedules and logs, as well as complete documentation based on regulations and company policy. Additionally, you will conduct safety surveys, inspections, and post-accident investigations, preparing written reports of findings and recommendations for use by senior management.

This critical role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels, including drivers/operators, customers, and senior management. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and possess a valid CDL (P endorsement with no airbrake restriction) and a DOT Medical Certificate. A Bachelor's Degree and three years of recent experience in the transit safety industry are required, along with experience administering an organizational safety program and previous supervisory experience.
