Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans and provide patient care in accordance with physical therapy principles and Select Medical policies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, and contribute to case management.
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing and expanding client relations.
  • Document patient information in charts using accepted medical terminology and format, where permitted.
Requirements
  • Valid state license and/or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Registration or certification from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • CPR certification.
