Nutrition Therapist for Indiana Hospital

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC seeks a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. This role offers an estimated annual salary of $65,000 (negotiable based on experience) with a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical nutrition therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nutrition Therapist Role OverviewThis position involves guiding patients, families, and facility staff on all aspects of medical nutrition therapy to create a healthy and healing environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Completing nutritional assessments and providing evidence-based interventions for both inpatient and outpatient care
- Providing education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
- Documenting patient assessment results and developing personalized nutrition plans
- Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff on patients' nutritional status
- Managing physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. A self-motivated and proactive approach is essential, as well as a commitment to maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Requirements and QualificationsWe are seeking a registered dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensure as required by state regulations. A bachelor's or master's degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field is also necessary. In addition, you should have knowledge of regulatory standards and proficiency in using various software applications.
