Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. as a Travel CT Technologist.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with 36 hours per week and 12 hours per day shifts. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold their breath
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in diagnostic imaging
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
