Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Owensboro Health 2. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their physical, emotional, and cognitive function.
  • Implement treatment plans using a variety of modalities, including adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and seek consultation from colleagues when necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families/caregivers about their deficits and provide guidance on selecting and using adaptive equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT/L) in the state of Kentucky is required.
  • Certification as a Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider is required within 90 days of employment.
