Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing financial policies, plans, and accounting practices for our Foundation. Your responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, assisting in budget preparation, and analyzing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer financial reporting and analysis to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Oversee the timely distribution of fund accounting and statistical reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis and participate in special projects as needed.
  • Review various financial reports and transactions.
  • Act as a liaison between IT departments and Internal Audit for system-related issues.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial status reports to leadership.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual capital and operating budgets.
  • Support financial operations with fund balance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and guidelines impacting finance and accounting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in financial management.
  • Experience in a not-for-profit environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in major financial application software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.
