As an employee-owned organization, Shared Medical Services is recognized as a reliable and esteemed provider of specialized medical imaging services. We are currently looking for a dependable and professional Mobile Imaging Transport Specialist to join our team. Our services facilitate access to screening Mammography examinations at local healthcare facilities through our mobile units.
Expected Work Schedule:
- Mobile unit routes operate Monday through Friday with varying shifts.
- 1-2 overnight assignments per week.
- Guaranteed weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a vehicle equivalent to a 26' straight truck to transport medical equipment to designated facilities following DOT regulations.
- Set up and dismantle the mobile unit at each location.
- Assist in patient care by escorting individuals from the medical facility to the mobile unit, ensuring their comfort, safety, and confidentiality (training will be provided).
- Perform administrative duties, including time/activity logs, billing documentation, driver logs, and any necessary maintenance or inspection records.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Must successfully complete a DOT physical examination.
- Pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
