Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Georgetown Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide family-centered patient teaching and education
  • Identify and correct variances from the patient care plan
  • Facilitate discharge planning and teaching
  • Administer and document medications accurately
  • Keep physicians and Clinical Nurse Coordinators informed of significant patient information
  • Evaluate and modify the plan of care as needed
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • Registered Nurse, Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) preferred
